Dallas Blooms!

It's Dallas Blooms time again at the Dallas Arboretum, so we gathered up all our picnic supplies and GeeGee and headed out there to see the "Easter Bunny".

Somewhere in our conversations, I led Jacob astray about the Easter Bunny and he now thinks that the Easter Bunny is bringing him The King from "Cars".

He was very confused today when he saw this Easter Bunny and he obviously did not have The King with him.

He still had fun petting the "Easter Bunny" and the other animals but is still a little confused. I apparently need to read up on where this Easter Bunny tradition came from because they now think he is like Santa Claus.

After the mini petting zoo, we marched right over to the face painting and Luke had a Spider-Man mask painted on his face.

Jacob didn't want anything painted on his face but he wasn't going to let Luke have all the fun looking in the mirror either.

Jacob gluing beans on his paper in the arts & crafts area.

The Arboretum has a fairy tale castles exhibit right now so the boys had fun checking those out. This is the Beauty and the Beast Castle...you know Jacob loved that one.

Could this kid BE any more like his daddy?

And then we found a hill and it was time for some rolling. Never mind the mud.

Princess and the Pea castle...I guess this is the pea?

Luke thought this was the perfect castle for playing chase.

And then we came to the fountain and Jacob all but got in. And apparently Luke took a little nap.

More chase!

And another hill for rolling down...

And then we had lunch!

One last castle and an attempt at a picture sitting in the Little Mermaid chair.

Love these kiddos! And thanks to GeeGee for coming with us on this adventure!
