The boys and I had just been to the Arboretum a few weeks earlier, but didn't get to check out the Pioneer Village so we hung out there for a while in the wagons and cabins.
And then Jacob hung around looking like a ladies man..."hey ladies, I've got my Toy Story DVD."
More face painting, but this time Luke went for the Tiger!
Even Jacob got his face painted - we couldn't believe it!
Such a fun morning!
And then on Saturday we headed to Bunny & Grandaddy's for for Easter egg hunting.
Bunny puts money in the Easter eggs which is always fun because the boys just open them up and throw them in the basket - no idea! Jacob was very picky and only wanted the eggs that had coins in them. We kept trying to explain that the ones that didn't shake had the "big money" but he was not interested.
Baby Avery helping Jacob count his eggs.
Luke definitely got the most eggs!
Thanks for a fun day, Bunny & Grandaddy!
Here are the boys bright & early on Easter morning...such brotherly love!
Not sure if Luke is being tortured in this picture or what.
Too sweet.
We went to my parents church on Sunday morning and then over to their house for lunch. It was actually a site with Grandmother and her walker, mom & her cane and John and his boot (he tore his Achilles tendon earlier that week).
Grandmother & Luke...
Luke got a Spiderman costume from my parents so, of course, he had to put it on immediately for the Easter egg hunt!
