One month old already??

Can you believe it? The boys will be one month old on Saturday! It feels like just yesterday they were wheeling me down to Labor & Delivery and I was in complete denial that they were going to be born on July 4th.

Both the boys are just over 5 pounds now and are really starting to fill out. They have graduated to the "Newborn" diapers from the preemie diapers so obviously they are ginormous!

Jacob is having some spitting up issues which everyone keeps telling me is totally normal for all babies but it just seems so uncomfortable. He's continuing to gain weight so they don't seem worried about it but it scares me to death! I call Jacob our "strong willed" child. He pretty much does things on his schedule and is not really worried about what you had planned for him because he's going to do things HIS way. He prefers to keeps his eyes closed at all times and will take an entire bottle without opening his eyes at all. He is still taking 3 feedings by bottle/breast because of the spitting up so please pray for Jacob that his spitting up will get better and he will be able to take more of his feedings.

Luke is such a little trooper. He just seems so content and curious about everything. He will stay awake forever just looking around the room so I feel terrible when I have to put him back in his crib to go take care of Jacob. He will just lay there staring at us or looking up at the ceiling contemplating life. Luke is taking 5 feedings by bottle/breast so he is slowly getting closer and closer to completing all 8. It is very possible that Luke will be coming home before Jacob, which is wonderful, but still sad to think they won't be home together.
