Our busy, busy weekend

This weekend was ultra-busy. On Friday night, Suzanne and I went to dinner with our good friends Ray & Megan, as well as Suzanne's good friend, Alison, and her new boyfriend, Jay. We had a really fun night of "adult time" and we stuffed our faces with fajitas (Jack) and margaritas (Suzanne). On Saturday morning, we bypassed The Little Gym and opted for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk at Victory Plaza. Southwest Securities, Inc. (the company I work for) designates this as one of our big causes for the year. To date, we had raised over $45,000 to fight heart disease.

The rest of Saturday was spent at home waiting-out the effects of Hurrican Ike. One final note: I'm writing this posting on Sunday while Suzanne is feeding the boys. I have to brag on the boys and say that they were REALLY good at the church nursery this morning. In fact, it was a scene out of the Waltons (or some family-friendly show). We walked to the nursery right after church to find both Jacob and Luke in the lap of the baby sitter reading a church book.

Have a great week!

Here's a good picture of Suzanne and I from my Mom's birthday dinner

Luke with his friend Kennedy (the daughter of my co-worker, Alynn) and my co-worker, Rachel Lee. Seriously, she is the only person outside of Suzanne, myself, G, and Bunny who Luke has taken a liking to
